Is it the church that makes you run away from God or bring you closer?
In the video this man discusses why he hates religion and just LOVES Jesus. His whole purpose for this video was to inform others his side of religion. He brings out points as to why religion has caused more chaos than peace. You see it is all just an act that we play, just actors on a stage, kind of like a child that has lost his way, but really does not know that without God they wouldn't be here today. I do agree with his argument, but only to a certain extent. Yes I believe that religion can cause destruction, but I also believe that it is the foundation on building a relationship with God. As long as your connected with God there is nothing that can get in the way of your relationship with Him.
So many times people never like attending church because of the fact that there are so many hypocrites. They feel as if no cares and just talks bad about them. I mean what kind of christian does that to another, aren't we supposed to be a child of God? I would put money on it that real children of God do not talk behind peoples back, do not give them nasty look because the way that they are dressed, or even ignore them because of their sexual orientation. Real children of God would show them love and compassion. A church is supposed to be a place where you can get reconnected with Christ. It is supposed to be a hospital for the sick and weak spiritually. People in the church that judge others are more sick then those trying to come back to Christ. We need to welcome people with open arms willing and wanting to help others in need. Just like Jesus, all he ever did when he was on earth was helping and showing others what true love and compassion is.
