Distractions We Face
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyheJ480LYA

Everyday is a constant battle of distraction that come into life. The characters in this skit all represented distractions that we face. There is the boyfriend(or if you are the boy, the girlfriend), the money/greed, the drinking and parting, trying to become like models and doing whatever it takes to be like them, then Satan comes along and tells you to just give your life up because you have gone to far and there is no turning back. However, Jesus is still there never going to leave you. In this skit it shows how Christ never drifted away from us, but how we drifted away from him with the choices we made. In the end when we are ready to give up, Jesus comes in and sweep us off our feet, to carry our heavy burdens, and to show us with God ALL things are possible.
I remember my Ex-girlfriend had me so distracted that my relationship with Christ had drifted. I felt like she was my main priority. I do not know if you have ever been in love, but when you are all you ever want to do is be with that person, spend time with them, talk about them and think about them. You feel like you are captured by that person and to be honest your okay with it.
Distractions are everywhere in life whether it be by just hanging out with family, friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, t.v, internet, cars, ect. It is our job to stay focused and to not lose sight of the prize. For those the prize may be getting a PH.D, graduating college, starting a family, finding a well paying job or just staying clean from drugs and alcohol. At the end of the day it is all about what we do and what we need to achieve goals and to stay focused on that prize!

  1. As we go though life we can only have one thing on our mind, and that is our creator. Distractions is the devils play ground, so stay focused on your higher calling and God will do the rest to see you through.
